    Christmas savings envelope

No matter what you goal is to save for Christmas, you can reach that goal with this envelope.

First decide how much you need to save for Christmas and write in the space for Goal.

Then divide your Goal amount by 25 (the amount of rows in the tree) and you will get how much each row is. Let’s say you want to save 1250. 1250 divided by 25 is 50. Every time you put 50 in the envelope, you mark off a row. I use pastel highlighters like these ones from Amazon, because I love the pretty soft colors. When all the rows are completed you will have your savings goal amount.

    5 Savings challenge envelope

The 5 Savings Envelope may be the easiest way to start saving if you’re a total beginner. Save 5 dollar, rand or whatever your currency, at a time.

Simply add 5 at a time and mark off the how many 5’s you add. So let’s say your add 4 x 5’s, then you will mark off 4 spots (where you land is the total that you’ve saved so far, so in this example it’s 20).

When you complete the challenge you would have saved 50 x 5’s, which means that your total savings will be 250.
